In this role I greatly expanded my design skills and efficiency, while also growing more comfortable in a professional environment and taking on new responsibilities. In this role I’ve had the chance to work with seasoned designers and glean insights about the design process on real projects with tight deadlines. I’ve also had the opportunity to learn more about the print process, both for publications and large scale prints. Lastly, I’ve been given opportunities to innovate in my workspace by introducing new software and methods, such as Adobe InCopy.

Not only did I earn my degrees from UC but I had the opportunity to work with real clients for my final units. These experiences gave me a taste of what to expect in the professional world, and a chance to become accilmated with real-world situations like multi-disciplinary teams and non-flexible deadlines. These projects also further developed my teamwork and leadership skills.
