This design is representative of the artistic process, merging concepts of structure and rules as seen in sharp lines and blocky shapes with creativity and passion represented through primary colours and curves. The end result is a branding system that reflects the learned and refined skills of an artist, as well as the individual, spontaneous, and ‘rule-breaking’ side of creation and art.
This system was designed specifically to be broad yet consistent. The branding had to be open enough that five different artists could create five different interpretations, while also having smart design rules so those five executions were all clearly the same brand. The result is an identity system that will last years before needing a revamp.
