Forma Studio

Following my work on Urban Grind I wanted to create another brand identity project, but I knew it needed to be wildly different in style and tone. The brand would need to be highly structured, measured and clean with a corporate feel. In the end I decided I would work on an architecture brand, and eventually settled on the name Forma Studio.

This project was really challenging after coming off the free-form ‘dare to be messy’ approach to Urban Grind. While my experience from working on the corporate brand of Geoscience Australia helped immesurably, I found the biggest challenge was finding what executions and collateral was needed for this type of business. More so than that, finding compelling mockups that matched the tone I was trying to evoke. I’m excited to do more branding and identity work, especially ones like Forma Studios, because of the unique creative challenges (and opportunities) they provide.

branding document

As this is an expansive branding exercise, I’ve researched and created a branding document for future deliverables with this company and brand identity.
